"The Ouroboros is an ancient symbol depicting a serpent or dragon eating its own tail and symbolizes self-reflexivity or cyclicality, especially in the sense of something constantly re-creating itself, the eternal return. While first emerging in Ancient Egypt, the Ouroboros has been important in religious and mythological symbolism, but has also been frequently used in alchemical illustrations, where it symbolizes the circular nature of the alchemist's opus. It is also often associated with Gnosticism, and Hermeticism."

The dragon scale pattern of this bead is an original Faerybeads design.

I love this little guy! He is beautifully detailed, with every single scale perfectly formed. Lovely addition to my bracelet.

This bead already is the best design I ever saw. Must say the horns are noticeable but not scratchy. Absolutely spectacular designs and I am finally excited again about beads which I wasn't for some time. You guys clealry put passion before anything else and it shows!

Echt beeldschoon!!! :) ;)
